Michael Scott Phillips, MD
Dr. Michael Phillips was born and raised in Stamford, Texas - near Abilene. He graduated with honors from Texas Tech University in 1991 with his Bachelor of Science degree. He then graduated from Texas Tech University School of Medicine in 1995 and went on to the University of Texas HSC in San Antonio where he completed his internship in internal medicine in 1996 and his residency in anesthesiology in 1999. He served as Chief Resident during his last year of residency.
Following residency, Dr. Phillips practiced anesthesia and pain medicine in Abilene, Texas for over 3 years before relocating his family and practice to the Dallas area. Dr. Phillips is board certified in anesthesiology and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pain Medicine.
